How to Convert Video to GIF Online

Our Video to GIF converter uses FFmpeg.wasm — a full port of FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly — running entirely in your browser. No video files are ever uploaded to a server.

Options explained: Set the start time to begin the GIF at a specific point in the video. Duration controls how many seconds to capture (up to 30s). Width scales the output; smaller widths produce smaller GIF files. Lower FPS also reduces file size at the cost of smoothness.

Performance tips: For large videos, keep duration short (5-10s) and use 480px or smaller width. GIF files can become very large for long, high-resolution clips.
