IP Address Lookup
China domestic nodes (ipip.net · ip138.com) + 4 global databases (ipinfo.io · ipapi.co · ip.sb · ipapi.is) simultaneously — compare domestic vs. global exit IPs, detect VPN/residential/datacenter, district-level precision for CN IPs, WebRTC leak test.
About This IP Lookup Tool
This tool queries 4 independent global databases simultaneously — ipinfo.io, ipapi.co, ip.sb (MaxMind GeoLite2), and ipapi.is — to give you the most accurate, real-time IP geolocation and connection type detection for any IPv4 or IPv6 address.
Why multiple sources?
No single IP database is 100% accurate. Different providers update their databases at different intervals and use different methodologies. By querying multiple sources simultaneously, you can cross-reference results and identify the most reliable data.
IP Type Detection
Beyond geolocation, this tool identifies the connection type: Residential (home broadband), Datacenter / Hosting (cloud VMs, VPS, servers), VPN, Proxy, Mobile, or Tor exit node — powered by ipapi.is real-time threat intelligence.
IPv6 Dual-Stack Detection
IPv4 (32-bit) addresses are nearly exhausted. Modern networks support IPv6 (128-bit) simultaneously. This tool auto-detects both your IPv4 and IPv6 addresses if your network supports dual-stack.
WebRTC IP Leak Test
Many VPNs and proxies only tunnel TCP/HTTP traffic, leaving WebRTC UDP connections exposed. WebRTC STUN requests can reveal your real local IP address even when behind a proxy. If the WebRTC IP differs from your reported IP, you have a potential leak.
China District-Level Location
For Chinese IP addresses, the tool additionally queries our self-hosted ip138.com proxy to provide district-level precision (e.g. "Shandong · Qingdao · Shinan District") — far beyond what standard global databases provide.
Privacy
Lookups are sent directly from your browser to ipinfo.io, ipapi.co, ip.sb, and ipapi.is. District-level queries for Chinese IPs go through our self-hosted proxy. We do not log any queries.
